Standup — ~538 Mya (Cambrian, Sprint 14, Day 3)

Gabriel: Yesterday shipped bilateral symmetry as default body plan configuration. It’s holding. No regressions on existing Ediacaran fauna (the ones that survived). Today: Hox cluster documentation, which I keep saying I’ll write and keep not writing. No blockers.

Raphael: Yesterday introduced cephalization — centralized nervous system in anterior segment. Also accidentally made it mandatory. Radially symmetric nervous systems are now deprecated with no migration path. Filing ticket. Today: damage assessment. Blocker: unsure what “damage assessment” means at extinction scale.

Uriel: Yesterday updated the sprint board. Today: updating the sprint board. No blockers.

Saraqael: Yesterday was supposed to be testing trilobite eye configuration. Actually deployed 17 experimental eye architectures across 23 phyla without review. Most of them work. Three created predators we didn’t plan for. Blocker: the predators.

Michael: Physical constants nominal. No changes.

Architect [joining late, muted for 4 minutes]: What do you mean 17 eye architectures. We approved one. We approved ONE eye architecture.
